Kagome Higurashi was an adnary teenage high school girl form the modern days, until when she was searching for her cat Buyo, she was drawn down into tohe well by Mistress Centipede(Mudake Jōrō in Japanese)leadin her into the Sengoku period. There she saw Inu Yasha pinned on a tree, she released Inu Yasha before the Mistress Centipede could swallow her in. Since the people from the Sengoku period never seen a girl from future before, they lead her to Kaede the village's old Miko. The vilagers believed that she was the reincarnation of the famous Miko Kikyou/Kikyo that was Kaede's long dead older sister.
Kagome has a little crush relationship with Inu Yasha and Inu Yasha seems to be the same as well...but the interference between Inu Yasha and Kikyou send Kagome to a cracked heart, but she tries harder in a way to win Inu Yasha's heart. She's a head-strong, stubborn, good-humoured person and is a slate of kindness towards others. Kagome uses a bow and arrows that purify demons and enemies. She and the gang encounter Kouga and his worlf Tribe...now Kagome has to deal with two boys that's in love with her...Kouga and Inu Yasha...poor girl -_-
