Miroku's a hoshi(monk)with a curse on his right hand, the curse was Kazana (風穴, かざあな) English as "Wind tunnel" it sucks everything nearby, it'll eventually kill Miroku when the kazana gets bigger and it'll suck him in. He uses a cloth and mala beads to cover it up. The curse was been placed by Miroku's grand father to his father and to him by Naraku. Miroku's a pervant monk that ask any women he likes to bear his child -_-' he cheats people's money and food by 'helping' them to get demons away from their village. When he met Kagome and Inu Yasha, he saw Kagome bathing in the hot springs, he discovered that she has the shards of the shikon Jewel(shikon no tama)while staring at her chest and takes them and her bike whith the help of Hachi(Hachiemon)a tanuki(racoon dog spirit) Inu Yasha and Kagome caught up to him, Inu Yasha attacks him but Miroku return with a Kazana. Miroku was recovered and explain everything to Kagome and Inu Yasha, and join their quest for Naraku.

The relationship between Sango and Miroku was that they actually make an excellent pair in battles, riding on Kilrara(Kilala) with Sango to fight demons. Miroku surprisingly didn't ask Sango to bear his child, he even ask Kagome when they first met. Untill Sango sense jealoust of him asking other women to, Miroku then ask Sango to bear his child and Sango gave him the usual respond "NO" Miroku's always protecting Sango from danger. In episode 118 Miroku ask Sango out loud that she's the women he loves and will protect her nomatter what, he proposes marriage to Sango and.she said.........."Yes" Also asking her to have atleast 10 children with him -0- (typical) but Sango said it in one comdition...he's not allow to ask any other women to bear his children.
Miroku's name means "The Busshits Messiah" in Japanese he's 20 years ols and wears a robe like dress with sandles
