Sango's a highly trained yokai exterminator (妖怪退治屋, yōkai taijiya) she's a member of a village that's expert at slaying yokais. Like other children of the village, had been training to master the art of yokai extermination from a very young age. Her most useful weapon was a giant boomereng that's made from demons bones. It's call Hiraikotsu (飛来骨,ひらいこつ)Her village was attacked by Naraku's demons and everyone died there, her village was where the Shikon Jewel was originated created. Her special attacks were her Hiraikotsu works like a boomererang meaning "bones that flies back" Her Yokai Paralyzing Poison (毒分, dokufun)that she use against demons, the katana was one of her weapons that she uses mostly if she looses Hiraikotsu of it was away from her in a far distance. There's the chain to constrict enemies, Dagger gauntlet that she hid under her kimono/Yukata rarely use it and Kirara(Kilala)her pet that aids her who flies. At first Sango thought that Inu Yasha was her rival that kills her entire village, because of Naraku's trick she fell for it, and Naraku got away with Kagome's Shikon shard, but they got it back.
Sango has a younger brother Kohaku, he was trained to be a yokai slayer when he was 11 years old, when his father told him that he must start his training now, Kohaku was scared and stuff, and Sango is always te one that encourage him that he'll do fine...until one day, Naraku took control of Kohaku and killed the people that went to the palace that was ask to slay the spider demon and found it was a trap to kill them including their father, and attempted to kill Sango, but only stabbed her in the back with his kusari-gama (chain sickle)when Kohaku found out what he had done, the palace guards shot arrows at him, Sango tried to protect him, and got shot with arrows as well... and that's Kohaku's death, until Naraku revive him with a Shikon shard. And Sango wsa heart broken that her brother was controled by Naraku to do the thing for him and as an object for Sango's mind to should she kill Kohaku or not.
Sango has a feeling for Miroku, she gets jealous when Miroku ask other women to bear his child and stuff, seems Miroku feels the same as well, like when Sango's away and took quite a long time to get back, he turn impation and went searching for her... when Miroku ask her to marry her, she said yes!!! and so they did, they make an awesome couple and awesome team. When things starts to work out between them, Miroku will mostly always screw up...

The name Sango means coral in Japanese, she's 18 and she has 2 types of outfit, one she usually wears and one when she was in battles, she wore a yukata/kimono with pink paterns and a green like cloth as a skiry, she wears a outfut that's black and pink, since she's a girl... she ties her hair up so it won't get in the way.
